Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome’s son, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

YFC has grown to become the biggest campus-based church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
