    Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, TV host, and an author. He is the CEO and President of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated, which is also known as Christ Embassy International.

    Chris Oyakhilome Background

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He finished his secondary and primary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. The university awarded him a BSc.

    AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science Award. He also holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was earlier was married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry when he was an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.

    YFC was growing, and eventually became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry with millions upon millions members around the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

    Oyakhilome BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on television across Africa through its”Atmosphere for Miracles” program in 2002. The show was cancelled in May 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would no longer broadcast miraculous events on television.

    The ministry of Pastor Chris is divided into four areas: publishing ministry, healing ministry, television ministry teaching ministry, and TV ministry. From these ministries, he created the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

    BFAM provided hundreds of thousands of Rhapsody Bibles to individuals and communities, prisons, government and private institutions worldwide. This includes the Philippines, Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria. This was possible because of a global network of Bible sponsor volunteers, donors and other supporters.
