Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the child of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son early.

Oyakhilome The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered minister of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where many gospel musicians are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word to the world. As well as being known by CSO as a singer, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then received a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He is also awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Oyakhilome Ambrose Ali University was the location where he sensed God calling him to become a minister to the Lord.

While still at university While still in university, the Man of God established what would eventually be the largest congregation in the world. It began as an uninvolved group of believers known as ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would later grow to be the basis for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world, 24/7 via free-toair networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry also runs two Healing School in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles can be achieved.

Music and Gospel Music are also an important part of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these musicians can go on to be accomplished solo artists thanks to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s inspiration and guidance.

The five COFI partners have a common goal: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in the poorest regions.

Under the auspices COFI is COFI’s InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the well-being, health and spirits of those most at risk.

His charity also provides nourishment for children in need.
