I’ve watched and heard the two men clearly in rapport with each other. I’ve listened to the outcome of negotiations where compromises have clearly been made for the higher good, the benefit of the British nation. I’ve watched people from two opposing parties working co-operatively rather than the normal aggressive, confrontative dog fights which are oh so familiar in political life.

As one reporter stated, “The American people are not stupid!” He’s right. We know what McCain is doing and why. We know he has not laid out one single plan to rectify the eight years of Republican rule that has literally brought our economy into recession, along with two wars and more and more homeowners in foreclosure.

He is on the edge between credible and fringe candidate, but we’ll give him the fact that he was elected as a governor. And ten is a much nicer number than nine.

The idea is absurd, tax the American people more in an effort to stop something that is unstoppable. It’s just another example of how McCain gives up his ground to the left in the name of bipartisanship.

Voters in the U.S. are just as smart (I think) as those in Canada, the U.K., Greece or wherever. We really could also ‘get it’ after having it hammered at us for only a month or so.

Next up is McCain’s stance on interrogation. He believes that water boarding and torture should be outlawed, pointing to the fact that if we do it to terrorists, they’ll do it us. But McCain forgets that terrorists move past torture and go straight to killing.
