Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973, to Mr. and Mrs. Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. He was educated in elementary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After graduation, he earned the degree of BSc Architecture.

YFC grew to become the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. The foundation can accomplish this feat by supporting national policies related to trauma care and health education.
